Frida Kahlo was brave, unconventionel and creative – all the things we admire and that we want to have in our own life. The technique of many transparent layers makes Frida look very vague, like a good ghost that watches over our lives. 
Her famous quote "Feet. What do I need them for, when I have wings to fly" is written in spanish in a very decorative almost transparent font across the painting.
