A dress. A symbol. For diversity, joy and freedom. The portrayed person is Maximilian Philipp who's an activist for the LGBTIQ+ community. He wears a dress by Austrian Designer Julia Lara König. 
The rainbow colors contrast against the otherwise black and white painting. The beautiful color splashes land on a background that has fine cracks, symbolizing all the hardship that the community had – and unfortunately – still has to go through.
